MEN’S CAMPOUT

JULY 23-24

All men ages 18 and up are invited to join us for this special weekend men's retreat. This will be a time to get away from outside distractions, spend quality time with other men of God, participate in outdoor activities, eat good food, and be inspired to awaken the Godly man within you to fulfill His purposes for your life.

Where: Ponderosa Veteran’s Retreat, Hwy 83 about 30 miles south of Bigfork, 200 feet south of MM 59 also directly across from Fire Ranger Station, before Goat Creek sign. Look for the ‘Men’s Retreat’ temp sign by the road. DIRECTIONS

When: Friday, July 23rd as early as 5 pm, diner after 6 pm, and overnight to Saturday 5 pm

How Much: $35 will cover all expenses on site

What to bring: Overnight gear. With bears and wild cats everywhere, tents are the last option. There will be RV’s with extra room and there will be a 20’ enclosed cargo trailer with wide-open floor for sleeping. As a last resort, there are a few inside cabins.

Facilities Include Parking space, room for RV with no hookups, inside restrooms, and showers, simple house style kitchen, fire pit, emergency phone service, running water, Olympic size basketball court

Facilities do not include: WiFi, Cell service, protection from bears, cats, mosquitoes, camping hookups, water features (lake, pond, pool)

Hope Church will provide: Several BBQ grills, 3 meals (Friday pm, Sat am, Sat noon), drinks (water, lemonade type drinks), coffee, eating gear (plates, forks, cups, napkins), & trash cans with bags.

What to Bring: Mosquito spray, bear spray, 22 guns (not bigger), camp chairs, cool evening jacket, pocket knife, notebook, flashlight, hiking shoes, bedding, and towel

What not to Bring: Dogs, kids 17 and younger, bigger than 22 calibers, electronics

What to Do: We will make friends and bond with guys, play some basketball, ping pong, ax throwing, shooting contests, bonfire

devotions, and message time

What you need to do:
